DicingDangers Free RPG: the Browser Fantasy Game in Beta

DicingDangers Fantasy was a new (still in beta testing) classic high fantasy role playing game. Browser based, there were no downloads, and nothing to install. The game was a MMORPG, or Massive Multi-player Role Playing Game, meaning you could interact with other players from all over the world. At the time there was no PvP (player versus player combat), but it was planned for the future.

The game was free to play.

The game was a true role playing game rather than a turn based strategy game. You played a character in this world. As a hero or in some cases villain, you were free to roam the world and do battle with fantastic beasts. The world was growing and more areas were to become available in time.

As a character you had certain traits. The most important of these was the Level. The higher the level, the better you were.

The world was inspired by classic high fantasy, with elves, dwarves, orcs and trolls, but the world and history were its own. At that stage there was no magic system. The game used a lot of JavaScript and AJAX technology and had been tested on Firefox and Internet Explorer 7. Planned for the future were a crafting system, magic, a vast world to explore and an ever improving user interface.
